RV Blinds Information
Want to update the interior of your RV? Or do you need more privacy or to reduce the effects of outside temperatures or simply protect the interior from ultraviolet rays? Then there’s good news for you! Take some measurements; pick out the blinds of your choice and install. It’s that simple!
Blinds will provide you with more privacy, especially when added under a curtain or drapery. One-inch mini blinds come highly recommended for RV use.
Regulating interior RV temperatures with RV blinds is will allow conserving artificial heating and cooling. RV blinds also add a ‘homey’ touch to your RV. There are a variety of RV blinds and shades available and a large variety of colors as well. Just remember, any blinds or shades that would work in your home, will work in your RV. RV blinds are simply ‘blinds’ these days. If you can buy them to fit your RV window, then there are RV blind. Most RV manufacturers’ are now offering this variety of blinds and shades in their RV’s. However, if you have an older model that needs updating or you simply want a change, then by all means, go for it!
A windshield privacy wrap is also available. It is installed on the interior side of the windshield and is rail mounted and designed to replace OEM installed curtains.
It seems that staying on top of dust is a constant challenge. Clean slat style RV blinds by dampening an anti-static disposable dusting cloth or a glove with any gentle cleaner. If you change cloths frequently, you will be assured that there will be no transfer of dirt from one area to another area. You should always test a small area before using any cleanser. If you have day/night RV blinds, they are best cleaned with a dry sponge. Wipe it over the RV blinds. The sponges should be machine washed with towels, or alone, and air-dried. To remove a stain, dampen a cotton swab and dip it in a bit of dishwashing liquid. Then blot gently with a slightly damp cloth.
When storing your RV, leave the RV blinds in the up position.
